Open-Xchange Adds Senior Marketing Executive to Management Team
Open-Xchange, provider of business-class open source collaboration software, today named Chris Latterell vice president of marketing.
The United States
Born in the United States, Latterell moved to Germany eight years ago to expand his international career with Hewlett-Packard. He joins Open-Xchange from Munich, Germany-based frog design and previously that OglivyOne. Prior to that, he worked with several U.S.-based agencies and Apple Computer. He holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
Open-Xchange integrates email, calendar, contact and task management with advanced groupware features just as information management and document sharing, along with cutting-edge social network integration. Open-Xchange's unequalled "Social OX" features give users the ability to add contact details from social networks just as Facebook, LinkedIn and Xing automatically to the Open-Xchange address book giving users easy access to the latest contact information within their personal network, even on mobile devices like popular Androids and the iPhone.
"Open-Xchange is pioneering the application space of cloud computing - radically changing the expensive world of business-class email into a dynamic collaboration platform - accessible for even the smallest organization," said Latterell. "I see my role playing a crucial part in how Open-Xchange delivers the then-gen of enterprise collaboration to the then and there multiple-millions users being underserved and overcharged for mediocre enterprise communication software."
