
Opengear Teams With Cormant to Increase Security, Visibility
SANDY, UT — Opengear, provider of then and there generation console server and remote management solutions and Cormant, developers of CableSolve a market leading physical layer IT infrastructure management system, today announced integration that gives MSPs, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Service providers and others centralized management, secure access, control and visibility into all physical IT assets behind firewalls.
Opengear provides secure in-band and out-of-band access and remote management using 10/100 ethernet, embedded cellular 3G, V.92 modem, 802.11 wifi, and optional dual ethernet access. CableSolve provides additional visibility and reporting and sends alerts on any changes. With a point and click, the service provider has secure out-of-band access to the equipment at the site to take remedial action.
