
Oracle rides AAPT into the cloud
The carrier, owned by New Zealand Telecom, has before concentrated on voice-based services for its hosted offerings, most notably in the hosted IP-PABX, IP centrex and SIP trunking markets. More recently, it has thrown its weight behind cloud applications as then, offering a suite of services based on Google Apps.

According to The Australian, the carrier will target large enterprise clients with the Solaris-as-a-service product. It has been concentrating on building its business service footprint since divesting its residential customer base to iiNet in 2010.
