
PCRange brings FRITZ!Box to Oz
Broadband and networking supplier PCRange has signed an exclusive agreement to distribute the FRITZ!Box ADSL2+ router in Australia.
Developed by German company AVM, FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 provides ADSL2+, four 100-Mbit/s Ethernet ports and dual-band Wireless LAN a/b/g/n support.
One model above, the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7390 has four gigabit Ethernet ports, ADSL2+, VDSL2, concurrent dual-band WLAN access points, ISDN support and on-board storage for media services and NAS functions, the company claimed.
Further, the FRITZ!Box has a built-in DECT cordless handset base station, supporting six wireless handsets, plus two wired VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) handset ports and a "lifeline" voice port.
