Prime Telecommunications becomes Allworx Authorized Reseller
Allworx, a subsidiary of PAETEC Holding Corp., which develops award-winning Internet Protocol-based phone systems that deliver new capabilities and efficiency to small and medium-size businesses, has selected Prime Telecommunications, Inc. of Skokie, IL to become an authorized Allworx dealer.
Since 1993, Prime Telecommunications has provided small and medium businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area with affordable and reliable telecommunications solutions. Since the advent of voice over IP research, Prime Telecommunications has been at the forefront of converting existing customers to innovative technologies.
When Nortel Networks declared bankruptcy and was sold to Avaya in 2009 Prime Telecommunications began looking for a new manufacturer to install. “The search process was deliberate for us. We looked at all of the major manufacturers and wanted a relationship that would provide value to our customers.”, said Ben Fine, General Manager of Prime Telecommunications. “What we do for our customers can’t be measured just in the hardware we sell them. We provide our customers with solutions. With the Allworx system, we feel that we allow businesses the option of migrating to IP communications at their own pace and give them easy to use powerful applications to improve their productivity during reducing costs. We are excited to be working with such a reliable partner!”.
Allworx, a wholly owned subsidiary of PAETEC Holding Corp., develops award winning, phone & network systems for small-to-medium sized businesses through a network of Authorized Partners. The product line includes the Allworx 6x and 48x systems, Px 6/2 Port Expander, and Allworx 9224 phone and Tx 92/24 Expander, 9212 and 9202 phones along with a series of software options. By combining the advanced features of today’s VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) systems with the key system features SMBs have grown to rely on, Allworx systems are ideal replacements for the millions of aging PBX and key phone systems in use today. IP-Based phone systems just as the 48x offer tremendous advantages over traditional systems. By converging voice and data over a single network, businesses can realize network efficiency, powerful features and simpler management for internal staff. Since devices are connected through routing to put it more exactly than physical connections, users can easily move phones within a building, or even bring their phone and capabilities to any Internet-based connection just as their home or hotel room when traveling.
Prime Telecommunications will begin the installation rollout of Allworx systems in February, 2011. Seasoned industry veterans, Prime technicians will be fully trained and certified on the Allworx platform. Prime Telecommunications is offering the full line of Allworx systems with a complete four year manufacturer software and hardware warranty. Prime Telecommunications knowledgeable staff continues to assist businesses in connecting multiple offices, work at home and mobile workers to improve productivity through such innovative applications as Allworx apps for the iPhone and iPad. But users can modify conference calls, check, send and manage voicemails and view and modify presence settings all within seconds.
Since 1993, Prime Telecommunications has installed thousands of systems for small and medium businesses in the Chicago metropolitan area.
