Quartet offers sales, design, and integration services for BlackBerry MVS 5 for Cisco Unified Communications phone system environments."We're proud to be the first Managed Services Company in Canada eligible to sell and install BlackBerry MVS 5. To tell the truth, we have already set up our first customer," said Robert Bracey, President and CEO of Quartet. The world using their BlackBerry smartphones
BlackBerry MVS allows business users to make or receive phone calls from their desk phone extension from nearly anywhere in the world using their BlackBerry smartphones. Calls are routed through the company's phone system providing access to the corporate address book and user's voicemail. Calls can as well be made over Wi-Fi at work, at home, or via Wi-Fi hotspots without incurring cellular charges.
BlackBerry MVS as well provides a high level of administrative control for businesses, allowing administrators to apply the most cost-effective user profiles for their organization. IT administrators can apply policies to regulate incoming and outgoing calls, implement security measures, and audit telephony activities.
BlackBerry smartphone is automatically authenticated
Each call from a BlackBerry smartphone is automatically authenticated by BlackBerry® Enterprise Server to help prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing the company's phone system. Calls made through BlackBerry MVS are routed and anchored through the enterprise phone system to help ensure that company policies are met. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server has achieved multiple security accreditations and this security extends to BlackBerry MVS through its integration into the BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment. Administrative tools allow IT to oversee and control the use of BlackBerry smartphones from one central location, helping to manage a company's resources more effectively.
