
RadiSys Ranked #1 Media Server Vendor for Seventh Consecutive Year
RadiSys® Corporation, a leading provider of innovative hardware and software platforms for straightway generation IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks, today announced that it has been named the market leader in media servers for the seventh consecutive year by premier market innovation firm Infonetics Technology. In its study, "Service Provider VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Equipment and Subscribers: Quarterly Worldwide and Regional Market Share, Size and Forecasts," Infonetics Technology reported RadiSys' family of media servers captured 65 percent of the total market for the 2010 calendar year, an 11 percent gain over 2009.

In 2010, RadiSys announced its Integrated Mobile Media Server, enhancing mobile service providers' ability to grow new earnings from the explosion of 3G mobile video services and 4G Long Term Evolution deployments. RadiSys as well announced transcoding solutions for all-IP service networks based on the RadiSys Media Server as so then as new features and enhancements for its award-winning Software Media Server.
