Regional Victoria switched to digital-only TV

Communications minister Senator Stephen Conroy announced today around 455,000 households in regional Victoria now receive digital-only TV following the shutdown of analog television signals.

The assistance scheme will be available for another month and the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy did not right away release figures on how many households in the region opted for VAST or are after all using analog-only television.
