Salesforce.com Selects Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts has announced that Salesforce.com has selected the center as one of the major venues for its annual cloud computing event, Dreamforce.

In January 2011, saleforce.com completed its acquisition of Dimdim. Dimdim focuses on cloud-based communications and has created critical real-time communication technologies including presence, messaging, and screen sharing. The acquisition gives Salesforce.com Dimdim’s real-time communication capabilities, along with a team of developers experienced in building cloud-based collaboration services. Salesforce.com will use the acquisition to introduce new real-time communication capabilities to the Chatter collaboration platform.
