
SCSU realigns academics, cuts faculty

» Herberger Business School: Dean Diana Lawson will continue to lead the school that used to be called the G.R. Herberger College of Business.
» College of Science & Engineering and embedded School of Computing, Engineering & Environment: Dean David DeGroote will continue to lead the college, and Kurt Helgeson remains interim associate dean of COSE. A search for a permanent associate dean begins in fall 2011 and that person will lead the School of Computing, Engineering & Environment.
» School of Health & Human Services: Monica Devers begins work as the interim dean Friday and will continue in that role until June 30. A search will begin this fall for a permanent dean. Devers holds three master's degrees and a doctorate and is an associate professor and chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
