
Sigma Systems' Telco Services Accelerator Selected to Enable Fibre-Based Service Delivery in Eastern Canada
Sigma Systems, an industry leader in Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions, today announced, through its partnership with GENBAND, it has deployed its Telco Services Accelerator at Bell Aliant to provide complete residential service fulfillment support of the operator's fibre-to-the-home network. The FTTH project, one of the first "all-IP" deployments in North America named FibreOP, includes areas of the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and is on track to pass 600,000 homes and businesses by the end of 2012.
