SIP Print's SME System Makes Call Recording Simple and Effective

JF: The cool thing about the SME is it is a high availability system. It has dual hot swappable power supplies. When the SME is racked each power supply can connect to a separate electrical circuit, so that if the environment loses power, SIP Print stays up. In the event one of the power supplies goes bad, it can easily be replaced – slide out, slide in without taking the call recording features off line. In addition, the SME has 2 terabyte RAID 5 (1.5 computed storage) disk arrays, which means that if your environment takes 1000 calls a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, where each call averages 5 minutes, then the SME will store 2.57 million calls or almost 10 years of call activity before requiring archive capability. Each disk is hot swappable, so with visual and audio alarm indicators, the end user can easily swap disk drives with auto rebuild of the raid array without shutting down the SME. It can record up to 200 concurrent sip (VoIP) telephone calls.

JF: The SME is perfect for the small medium business that needs to record calls 24 hours day 7 days per week 52 weeks a year in a high availability environment – call center, financial institution – banks, credit unions, stock brokers, accounting firms, consulting firms, bio tech (IP discovery). In addition, these units can be stacked in an environment that requires more than 200 concurrent call recordings (large, displaced telephony activity) at any one time. The SME is perfect for those environments that require high-availability. The SME is the call recording system on the market today that is closest to achieving fail-over capabilities without actually installing a second call recording system and duplicating recordings.
