Steve Jobs' official biography now available in Australia
Written by Walter Isaacson - the same man who wrote highly acclaimed biographies about Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein - it explores the ups and downs of Jobs' turbulent life, which included being kicked out of his position at Apple previously being asked to return when the company looked destined for failure.
The book to cover everything
Jobs wanted the book to cover everything, according to the opening statements, with "nothing offlimits". It at the time opens with a in other words astute quote, one from Apple's 'Think Different' advertisement that aired in 1997.
"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do," Apple said in the commercial - in a word Jobs' attitude to life.
