Innovation media company TechTarget, Inc. announced the winners of the "Best of VMworld" 2011 Awards at the VMworld 2011 conference being held this week at Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas and sponsored by VMware, Inc.

The awards cover the following nine categories of the virtualization market: business continuity & data protection; security & compliance for virtualization; virtualization management; hardware for virtualization; desktop virtualization; private cloud computing technologies; public/hybrid cloud computing technologies; new innovation; and best of show.

Important venue for vendors to showcase their products
