Telesphere Expands Hosted PBX POP Presence in New York Area
Telesphere, a nationwide hosted PBX (News - Alert), VoIP and Cloud Communications business phone and Internet service provider, has secured an additional Point of Presence (POP) in the New York and New Jersey areas in an effort to bring greater capacity and next-generation Cloud Communication services to the East Coast.
“We are excited to bring high quality and convergent Telesphere (News - Alert) services of fully hosted Cloud Communications to the New York/New Jersey area. This changes the way businesses communicate, and allows PBX voice and data services to integrate with customer cell phones and PCs,” said Sanjay Srinivasan, CTO for Telesphere, in a statement.
Peterson said that adding this POP will greatly increase the company’s ability to offer very competitive pricing and next-generation communication services to the company’s Indirect Channel and VAR partners in the Northeast.
Officials with Telesphere said that the company is leading the Cloud Communications movement, which is an entirely new way to build, deploy and scale enterprise communications services.
Company officials said that some of the benefits include increased employee productivity through Cloud-based PBX voice services that integrate with the clients’ cell phone and PC, offering evolutionary features and convergence at reduced operational and capital costs.
Back in Jan., Telesphere had announced the release of its custom-built, interactive hosted PBX phone system training videos for customers. The web based videos demonstrate the use of more than 50 business phone features and services available to Telesphere customers.
