TelstraClear is New Zealand's second largest full service telecommunications company, providing products and services to the business, government, wholesale and residential sectors. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telstra, the largest telco in Australia.

Full range of voice

TelstraClear provides a full range of voice, data, broadband Internet, mobile, managed services and digital cable TV products and services to the New Zealand market. As well available are triple play services over its HFC cable networks in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch area. The company as well has a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) interconnection agreement in place with WxC.

TelstraClear believes that it is so then placed nationally because of its fibre assets which will allow the company to extend its network as a backbone to sell voice data, broadband and other types of bundles of products and services. In the meantime the operations of the telco will be come clearer in 2010 as in late 2009 it was announced that Telstra would operate both the New Zealand and Australian businesses as a single trans-Tasman market.
