The games
When we launched Peace Walker for PSP, this is what I said: In the nearly future there will be a world of cloud computing… I as a matter of fact believe that you can have a portable MGS and Peace Walker was an experiment for the cloud computing future. NGP allows this cloud computing.
The Unreal Engine 3 running on the NGP
Tim Sweeny from Epic Games at that time took center stage to demonstrate the Unreal Engine 3 running on the NGP. This is probably the first time the full blow version of the UE3 has been shown running on a handheld device. Sweeny stated that this was made possible by the NGP's multi-core GPU innovation, which is four times as powerful as any portable seen previously.
“NGP's nulti-core GPU research, which is four times as powerful as any portable seen earlier… OLED screen, dual analog sticks, touch screens…”
even at $350.00 it will be damn cheaper than the MP2 iPhone5 or iPad2 or any of the Android supersmartphones or tablets releasing this year.any lower than $300.00 this gizmo will be a steal compared to the 3DSAm I right or am I right?
But who am I kidding? Sony ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS prices themselves out of the market. I wish they’d understand they could compete with the 3DS if it’s priced at $250. It’s insane to price your handheld more than your console, because frankly, some folks can barely afford the $300 120gb PS3, let alone a fucking $300 handheld that isn’t even a phone and has to rely on hotspots.
Really it all comes down to 3DS vs PSP2 and I have to see both especially the 3DS earlier I actually know which one will be more worth it. PSP2 is impressive even though. Nintendo has the variety of games as then. Overall, Smartphones will nevertheless rule the market and I can see the Xperia Paly doing better at the time the PSP2 because it will be the all in one device.
Smart phone games are great for playing quick pick-up-and-play games, nevertheless the PSP2 seems like it’s capable of bringing some in all seriousness high quality games, and features.
Who care abour Performance and specs. You act like the 3DS is a piece of shit. It’s far from that. It will have very good graphic and a glassless 3D Screen and a good library to go with it that will have games for everyone. This is a handheld device where mobility and convience is the key not how good a game looks. That’s what my console is for. I probably won’t buy either now I’m all in all more intrugied by a 3D Glassless Screen. Like I siad earlier smatphones make more sense and I’m happy with my Windows Phone 7 that does it all and is justifiable to get a data plan for 3G Connectivity that allows for Multiplayer over Xbox Live along with internet, email, text messaging and Movie/Music/Picture streaming. It just makes more sense.
we are talking aboutCloud games,PC games,Android games,Browser games,Flash games,MMMO games,NES, SNES, Genesis, PSOne, MAME, Gameboy, DS, Wii emulators etc. etc.
I’m including music games, mini games, iPhone apps, simple puzzle games and simple platformers as casual. And themed games
iPhone “apps” are not iPhone “games”, such as PS3 “apps” are not PS3 games, and as such have no place in this discussion, even though there are plenty enough “hardcore” iPhone games by your definition.
