Following yesterday's leak of the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung has confirmed its specifications while its own keynote at Mobile World Congress. As expected, the Galaxy S II features its new Super AMOLED plus display innovation inside the 4.27-inch display, quadband GSM/EDGE, quadband HSPA at 21Mbps, dual-core Exynos 1GHz processor, GPS, Wi-Fi N and FM radio with RDS support. It will as well feature an 8.0 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, auto-focus and flash.

The Galaxy S II will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and includes a number of Samsung specific software, just as TouchWiz, Social Hub, Media Hub, Readers Hub, and Game Hub.
