Vasseti Datatech launches 1 Gpbs service

KUALA LUMPUR: Vasseti Datatech Bhd, an information and communications technology (ICT) subsidiary of Vasseti Bhd, has launched its 1 Gpbs broadband offering here.

Vasseti Group of Companies group chief executive officer Ahmad Razmy Abdul Rashid said deployment of the metro-Ethernet (metro-E) community broadband access, believed to be the first in the region, will enhance capabilities such as web TV, voice over internet protocol (VoIP), web call and surveillance.

"We are now giving communities the flexibility to choose what they use this huge bandwidth for, be it high definition Internet TV, real-time surveillance or multiple bandwidth hungry applications running concurrently.

The 1Gbps broadband is available at three condominiums in the city - Capital Square in Kuala Lumpur, The Loft in Bangsar and the Suasana Sentral Condominium in KL Sentral. The 1 Gpbs broadband will be offered at RM199 per month and does not include any data cap.
