The carrierâs pitch is simple â folks with friends
The carrier’s pitch is simple – folks with friends and family members living outside of the U.S. don’t have to pay a premium for international phone calls. They can use Skype instead to save some cash along the way. Skype to Skype calls are free, while calls to land and mobile phone lines cost much less. In addition, users can also chat with other Skype users from their (Skype supported) mobile phone.
