Vonage offers international calls through iTunes
Popular VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service Vonage has launched a new app for iPhone, which allows users users to make cheap international calls on the fly and pay for them via their iTunes account.
The Time to Call app
The Time to Call app, which is free to download, allows users to make a call up to 15 minutes in length through VoIP to landlines or mobiles over Wi-Fi and 3G.
Users are charged per call, with each 15 minute session costing £1.49 to 100 countries. Calls to an additional 90 countries start at £1.99 and everything is at the time charged to the iTunes account associated with the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
More good news arises from the fact that anything pursuant to this agreement the 15 minute call limit can be used for your at once conversation, so there's no wastage if you're only on the phone for five minutes or so.
