Here are your responses to last week's question: (Thanks to a Vox caller for this week's question) "What do you use for your home phone: land line, VOIP (voice over Internet protocol) or cell phone?"

Landline in my house

"I have a landline in my house, which I answer when I feel like it. I also have a cell phone for work. My friends are on my back to get my own cell phone, but I just don't understand why I need to be so 'connected.' Leave a message at the beep and I will return your call."
"My home phone is a landline and corded. When the power goes out, cordless phones won't work. Cell towers can go down and cell phones won't work. It is not obsolete; it is the best form of communication in your home."
