Wading Through the Cloud Security Swamp

In his session at the 8th International Cloud Expo, Steve Riley, Technical Leader in the Office of the CTO at Riverbed Research, will survey the Cloud Security swamp, clarify what's real and what's hype, and help give Cloud Expo delegates some kind of realistic basis for making risk judgments and deployment decisions.

Speaker Bio: Steve Riley is Technical Leader in the Office of the CTO at Riverbed Innovation. His role is to technology cutting-edge developments that help clients maximize their infrastructure investments. This includes working with clients to develop and improve technical architectures, incorporating feedback into the product planning and development processes. His specialties include information security, compliance, reliability, privacy, and policy. Prior to joining Riverbed, he was Sr. Technical Evangelist and strategist for cloud computing at Amazon Web Services.
