XO Communications Named 'Leading North American VoIP and SIP Trunking Services

XO Communications, a nationwide provider of advanced broadband communications services and solutions for businesses, has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the leading VoIP and SIP trunking services provider.

Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) has conferred on XO Communications the 2010 North American Competitive Strategy Leadership Award in the VoIP access and SIP trunking services market.

With 22.2 percent of the market share, XO Communications (News - Alert) demonstrated strong growth and impressive performance to new customer additions and an ever-expanding network footprint in key business regions, the research firm said.

The award specifically highlighted that XO Communications consistently offers VoIP, SIP trunking and managed services that leverage the latest technology and service models and meet the needs of small business customers who look for streamlined products at a lower cost and large businesses that focus on scalable, robust and versatile solutions, according to Frost & Sullivan.

In addition, Frost & Sullivan, in its "North American VoIP Access and SIP Trunking Services Market" study published in April, also named XO Communications as having the largest share of the market in terms of corporate end users.
