Yahoo! shake up; NATE exec leaves; and more

Here is a quick look at the movers and shakers from the past week.Yahoo! made the announcement that Carol Bartz has been fired as CEO and has been removed from the Board. In the interim Timothy Morse will act as CEO and will manage day-to-day operations. Morse is currently Chief Financial Officer of Yahoo! and will continue his role as CFO. Carrier IQ, mobile intelligence company out of Mountain View Ca., announced that Larry Lenhart has been appointed as the company's CEO and Chairman. Lenhart joins Carrier IQ from Mohr Davidow Ventures where he served as Operating Partner. Read more.NATE, The National Association of Tower Erectors, announced that Patrick Howey has resigned his role as executive director. In the interim Paula Nurnberg, NATE's operations director, will drive the day-to-day activities for the organization in accordance with the direction of the Board of Directors. Read more.Nokia Siemens Networks has announced that its operations in India will be lead by Sandeep Girotra. Girotra will report to the head of customer operations, Ashish Chowdhary. Currently NSN's Indian operations employs 15,000 people. Read more.Qualcomm announced that it has appointed Dr. Anastassia Lauterbach as Senior VP of Global Business Operations in Europe. Earlier Dr. Lauterbach served as Senior VP of Business Development of Deutsche Telekom. Read more.Savtira Corporation, B2B Cloud Commerce out of Tampa, FL announced that it has appointed Geoff Bicknell as Chief Financial Officer. Bicknell joins Savtira from DouglasBay Capital Plc. Read more.Tapjoy, Inc. mobile advertising company from San Francisco, announced that the appointment of Peter Dille as Chief Marketing Officer. Dille earlier served as Sony Computer Entertainment America's Senior Vice President of Marketing.
