Yahoo! VP to Present Lessons of Big Data at Cloud Expo 2011 New York

In his session at the 8th International Cloud Expo, Dr. Todd Papaioannou, vice president of cloud computing at Yahoo!, will discuss the lessons learned as Yahoo! continues to build products on the Hadoop platform, successfully solving some of the most critical technical challenges when it comes to crunching big data at unprecedented scale.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Todd Papaioannou is the vice president of cloud computing at Yahoo!. He oversees Yahoo!'s extensive cloud infrastructure which globally powers virtually all of its consumer and advertiser experiences by storing, analyzing and processing hundreds of petabytes of data and content, delivers it in a reliable and scalable way, making it accessible to users around the world on a variety of platform and form factors.
