Paradigm shift in mobile security
"Zscaler Mobile introduces a paradigm shift in mobile security," said Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler, in a statement. "Enforcement in the cloud, as compared to just another app on the phone, sets Zscaler apart. In accordance with Zscaler’s security umbrella, CIOs and CISOs can enable their business with new smart devices to improve business productivity."
Mobile devices like iPads run gamut of applications, from Facebook, YouTube, Pandora, to enterprise apps like e-mail and salesforce automation. With Zscaler Mobile, employees can but use mobile devices for work, without risk from malware and threats. To offer mobile security, Zscaler assists IT heads to define a policy for users. IT administrators can deal with multiple point products to secure PCs, smartphones and tablets, company officials said.
Recently the company announced that it has joined the Internet Watch Foundation, the U.K. self-regulatory Hotline for combating criminal online content, primarily child sexual abuse images hosted globally.
