Access to info important to cloud users

A global survey of businesses found that a desire to connect employees through multiple devices is a top factor for them to adopt cloud computing innovation.

Thirty-three percent of the 3,645 information innovation decision makers polled said accessibility to information through multiple device for employees is why they adopted cloud innovation, a CSC news release reported.

Other reasons for adopting the cloud were accelerating the speed of business, the choice of 21 percent of respondents, and cutting costs, which was most important to17 percent of those polled.

Most companies -- 82 percent of those surveyed -- reported their organizations saved money afterwards getting a cloud network, nevertheless savings were small.
