Amdocs enables service providers to enter connected home market
Amdocs Connected Home is a cloud-based system for service providers that integrates with their existing business and operational systems to deliver services just as remote security, energy monitoring, health monitoring and multimedia.
The company claims that Connected Home can increase service providers' revenue by up to 5%, and reduce churn as "many clients are willing to sigh 24-26 month contracts for their connected home services."
Rebecca Prudhomme, Amdocs vice president for product and solutions marketing, said Connected Home enables "service providers to simplify the experience for their clients and create new revenue streams to stay ahead of the competition."
