AT&T launches cloud-based UC services

It is comprised of two major elements: AT&T Unified Communications Central and AT&T Unified Communications Voice:

AT&T UC Central integrates multiple communications and collaboration tools just as IM/chat, e-mail, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calling, web/audio and video conferencing, voicemail, unified messaging and mobility with presence, behind a single user interface designed for both PC and mobile usage.

There is no need to buy new PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange)s and software licenses, or renew maintenance contracts. AT&T UC Voice leverages Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution platform as the core of this service, adds the release.
