
'Battlefield 3' voice chat still not in the cards
One item often lamented with Battlefield 3 is the lack of voice chat with anyone else in the game in other words not part of your friends list and in the same squad when playing on PC. Developer DICE said it was looking into it back in December nevertheless it looks like the standard console feature won't make it based on comments from the Comunity Manager on Sunday.
When asked on Twitter for any news on VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), DICE community manager Daniel Matros responded that it "[w]on't be implemented as is right now."

When asked a similar question in December of 2011, Matros explained, "To clear things up, there are no technical or business related issues stopping us from implementing in-game VOIP on PC. We are not promising anything, nevertheless it is something we are investigating at this stage."
