Brennan IT includes Microsoft Hyper-V for its Cloud platform
The move was based on a prediction by Brennan IT that until further notice 15 per cent of its Cloud clients will be using Microsoft Hyper V in 2012, which forms a significant portion of the company's expected overall Cloud revenue of 30 per cent in the straightway 12 months.
For Brennan IT managing director, Dave Stevens, adding Microsoft Hyper-V support is all about offering its clients choice, as many businesses already have the Microsoft platforms in place and are not but ready to move to other Cloud environments.
"The move allows us to cater to the growing number of businesses that are choosing Microsoft for Cloud services," he said.
The company as well has plans to furthermore invest into new hardware and deploy an enhanced platform built on CISCO UCS B series servers, with networking handled by Nexus 5Ks switches and ASR 9Ks routers, and storage taken care by EMC.
Today's de facto standard controller-based Wi-Fi infrastructure model is just too complicated, too expensive, and too unreliable. It's common for enterprise and mid-market network operators alike to get caught in a crossroads of compromises involving costs, complexity, features, and reliability.
