In the Internet hosting service industry, virtual private servers fill a void between shared web hosting service and dedicated hosting service. They allow root-level access to individual customers without requiring physically dedicated servers. They are most widely used by businesses and individuals that need a customized solution that cannot be filled in a shared hosting environment.
Mr. Anstey's has been involved in the IT industry for over 14 years. As President of XPC Research Services, Mr. Anstey currently specializes in online marketing and IT services. Key services include search engine optimization, social media marketing, and the provision of ecommerce solutions. Mr. Anstey as well owns and operates Sitesubmit.ca, an online marketing and search engine optimization portal with over 10000 members. Mr. Anstey is a Microsoft Advertising Accredited Professional. Mr. Anstey has played pivotal roles in software development projects ranging from Forex desktop trade alert systems to cloud computing projects. From 2004-2007, he was VP - Business Development for Multimedia Technologies, Western Canada's largest supplier of software and video games. Projects included a roll out of internal operation systems for inventory and customer management and control, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) system integration, and ecommerce deployment. Multimedia Technologies continues to be a client of Mr.Anstey. Prior to this, Mr. Anstey was VP - Business Development for the Data Fortress Group, a data center with a local area metro connectivity via a 3.2 km fibre ring in downtown Vancouver along with layer 2 connection between Vancouver and Seattle. He was as well co-founder of ianett search services, which created a scalable web crawler and Internet search engine.
James Oakley has 11 years of network software development experience, particularly on the Linux platform. He has focused especially on high-performance network applications and has worked on billing gateways and network management systems in the hospitality industry.
