
Cogeco Cable Is Pleased That the Supreme Court Has Accepted to Hear its Appeal on the Compensation Regime
MONTREAL, QUEBEC — Cogeco Cable Inc. expressed its satisfaction that the Supreme Court of Canada has accepted to hear its appeal concerning the jurisdiction of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission to impose a compensation regime in favour of private television stations whose signals are available free over-the-air and redistributed via cable and satellite.
