Coroner's office contracts another autopsy service
In other news, the county commissioners approved a contract with Lightspeed Technologies, Wilkes-Barre, for the installation of a new VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone system and computer network for the courthouse, prison, adult probation office and human service building. The project as well includes an upgrade to network equipment and interface to the 911/EMA phone system. Total cost of the project is $422,838 and is state contract pricing.
