
CoSentry building $30 million data center in Lenexa
CoSentry, an Omaha, Neb.-based data service firm, is building a $30 million center in Lenexa in other words expected to create 60 jobs, the company announced today.</p><p>The 60,000 square-foot data center is being built by J.E. Dunn Construction Co. and is expected to open by this fall. CoSentry describes itself as a since source provider of data center, cloud computing and managed technical services in the release announcing the project. The firm already has a smaller data center in Kansas City.</p><p>The new Lenexa facility will be a top-tier facility that will provide collocation, virtual server and storage platforms, high-capacity Internet and technical help desk services. The firm operates other data centers in Sioux Falls, SD, Papillion, Neb. and Omaha.
