CounterPath Announces Private Placement

Vancouver, BC, Canada - June 12, 2012 - CounterPath Corporation, an award-winning provider of desktop and mobile VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) software products and solutions, today announced that it intends to complete a non-brokered private placement of up to 1,400,000 units of the Company at CDN$2.50 per Unit for total gross proceeds of up to CDN$3,500,000. The Company may increase the size of the private placement if warranted. The Company plans to use the proceeds from the Offering towards general working capital.
