
CounterPath Bria Mobile Softphone App for iPad Recognized
VANCOUVER, May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - CounterPath Corporation today announced that its Bria iPad Edition mobile softphone application has won third place in the CTIA Emerging Innovation Awards for the category Mobile Applications: Productivity, Utility and Safety. CounterPath's application was judged alongside near 250 entries for research, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall "wow" factor.
Bria iPad Edition application enables users to make and receive voice and video calls, send and receive SMS and IM, chat with Facebook and Google Talk friends, and see when contacts are available using their iPad over either a 3G/4G or Wi-Fi connection.
