CyberData Corporation Partners with Patton Electronics

CyberData Corporation today announced a major development that Microsoft Lync users will be happy to hear. By partnering with Patton Electronics, based out of Gaithersburg, MD, and using Patton's SmartNode VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Gateway, both companies have certified interoperability with Microsoft's unified communications platform, Lync.

Patton Electronics Company, exhibiting this week at the Microsoft World Partner Conference in Toronto, Canada is demonstrating to Microsoft Lync users how to use Patton's Lync-Certified SmartNode VoIP Gateway in conjunction with CyberData's IP Speakers and Intercoms. This is big news in the Lync world as userswill now be able to do overhead paging and provide door phones for two- way communication and access control.

Patton's SmartNode Gateway provides the necessary gateway between the non-certified CyberData IP Paging/Access Control device and Microsoft's Lync. Patton, established in 1984, focuses on developing voice and data gateways, servers, routers and integrated access solutions. CyberData Corporation, the OEM based out of Monterey since 1974, continues to be a leader in developing IP Endpoints that set the standard in the VoIP marketplace.
