Data-only phone plans coming in 2 years

I would say “after all,” seeing as how I make perhaps 10 phone calls a month, but am forced to pay $60 for a family plan of 700 minutes. Nevertheless, when the carriers drop minute-based calling plans, the data-only plans they begin to offer will gouge you for such as much. Thing is, if phone calls and text messages are considered “data” in accordance with these new plans, the carriers will scare clients into paying for the biggest tiered data plans they offer to keep them from going over the slim allotment. Can you imagine if your 2 GB data plan counted texts and calls as data?
