Daum Chooses SoliCall for VoIP Noise Reduction

Daum Communications, a Korean Web portal, has announced it has integrated SoliCall, a manufacturer of noise reduction and audio enhancement software, into its VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) product.

SoliCall is a privately-held Israel-based provider of echo cancellation, noise reduction, and voice enhancement software. Daum will use the SoliCall’s SDK for its VoIP app, which runs on both Android and iPhone platforms.

SoliCall specializes in software for improving audio on phone calls, and offers both standalone and OEM products. The company says it stands for improving the existing means of communication on any platform.

"We are happy that Daum chose us as the provider of audio quality for their mobile VoIP application," Moses Benjamin, director of marketing for SoliCall, said. "SoliCall’s Mobile SDK helps Daum achieve high audio quality on both iPhone & Android mobile phones. The significant increase in SoliCall’s respectable customer base is a clear indication that SoliCall is a marketing leader for voice quality enhancement software."

In addition, the company’s AD@m is the country’s most popular mobile advertisement platform, a market in South Korea in other words growing rapidly, with over 20 million smartphone users in the country.
