
Embry-Riddle University's Interactive Virtual Classrooms Powered by the Saba People Cloud Dynamically Enable Global Learning
Collaborative Initiative Grows Earnings, Increases Enrollment and Transforms Learning Experience for 27,000 Students Worldwide
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Saba, the premier People Cloud provider, today announced that leading aviation and aerospace university, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, has dramatically improved student participation and enrollment since using Saba's People Cloud Applications. Saba's Real-time Collaboration, part of the Saba People Cloud, is providing the backbone for Embry-Riddle's EagleVision initiative, which brings at the same time voice, video, data, and graphics in a structured online environment. By enabling Embry-Riddle to create a in a class by itself virtual classroom environment, Saba has helped the university increase enrollment by 7% over the past three years alone. Since the launch of Saba Centra in 2007, the EagleVision live virtual classroom has grown from 150 registrations per term to over 4,000 per term. The environment consistently experiences over 100% growth from the previous term.
