EnGenius Technologies Launches Family of Long-Range

EnGenius® Technologies, Inc., the leader in long-range Wireless-N networking solutions for homes and businesses, today launched its XtraRange family of long-range, Wireless-N home entertainment-class routers at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show.

Making their debut at the ShowStoppers® press event at The Wynn on Jan. 10, 2012 , from 6-10 p.m. , the versatile, high-speed EnGenius XtraRange routers have been optimized to support bandwidth-intensive home entertainment applications just as video streaming and online gaming and bandwidth-sensitive applications like VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone calls, videoconferencing and music streaming.  Leveraging EnGenius' expertise in high-power innovation, the XtraRange routers deliver longer range and provide greater coverage than competing products to reduce or eliminate dead zones which slow down or disrupt wireless connectivity.

Both the ESR600H and ESR750H feature a built-in four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for optimal wired performance to connected devices, and a USB port to share a USB hard drive over the home of office network or a USB printer. The two routers as well incorporate Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports to enable faster downloads of video and other bandwidth-intensive content from the Internet.  The USB port on the ESR750H as well features shAir to additionally support connectivity to a USB-enabled speaker or speaker system for streaming music from Apple Macintoshes, iPods, iPads, iPhones or other Apple devices.
