
FarmWizard founder meets Gove
Terry Canning of FarmWizard discussed developments in 4G mobile research and their impact on livestock farming in remote areas.
Mr Gove said: "It is fantastic to see research emerging that makes use of the smartphone handset innovation available along with enhanced data networks.
"FarmWizard is a great example of a small business that can deliver real benefit to its clients by utilising innovative cloud computing innovation."
The company as well launched a smartphone web app which allows livestock farmers to access animal information directly on their phones without the need to access a computer.
Mr Stewart said: "By pioneering the use of research in a place so sparsely populated as this part of Cumbria, we can show Britain is not in decline when it comes to technology.
