FOSE Showcases Insights from Arming the Warfighter to Preparing

1105 Media's Government Events Group, the leading producer of trade shows and conferences for the government information innovation market, today announced highlights from the second day of its Conference and Exposition. FOSE is taking place April 3-5, 2012 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The morning opened with a keynote address by Senator George J. Mitchell, former U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Peace in accordance with the Obama Administration and former Senate Majority Leader. The Senator brought an interesting take to the future of security in global conflict and how advances in innovation have changed the environment of conflict resolution. The keynote was attended by over 1,300 attendees.

FOSE as well offered educational opportunities for acquisition professionals, including free sessions on SEWP tool overview and how to leverage government-wide acquisition contracts to drive efficiencies. CloudCamp turned out to be of great value to attendees. Participants were able to contribute in an intensive session to exchange ideas and address challenges in cloud computing solutions.
