
Global Fears Rattle the Dow
Supervalu sank 1.05, or 13%, to 7.34 afterwards the supermarket operator's third-quarter loss widened on larger write-downs and weaker sales. Revenue fell short of expectations, and the company cut its sales view for the current year.
Lennar jumped 1.49, or 7.2%, to 22.25 afterwards the home builder reported better-than-expected revenue, offsetting revenues that fell shy of estimates.
Crocs climbed 2.61, or 16%, to 18.56 afterwards the company said it expects fourth-quarter revenue to be at the high end of its before forecast range of $200 million to $205 million and full-year revenue to top $1 billion for the first time.
Eastman Kodak surged 21 cents, or 36%, to 82 cents, afterwards the struggling imaging company filed lawsuits against Apple and Taiwan's HTC, alleging the infringement of patents related to digital-imaging innovation. Apple shares lost 69 cents, or 0.2%, to 422.55.
