- Cashmere just put up a new 50-square-foot welcome sign at the east entrance to town, right nearly Rusty's Drive-In. The $6,000 hand-painted sign was made by Terry's Signs in Wenatchee and paid for with donations from area businesses and the Chamber of Commerce. The sign urges you to "Explore Downtown" and points the way.
