Seattle startup created
G12 Communications is a Seattle startup created by the team that built 360networks, which was sold to Colorado-based Zayo at the end of last year. The new company offers a variety of voice over IP management services to small, medium and large clients.
What is your elevator pitch? G12 Communications provides business clients an possibility to combine voice communications, email, mobile communications, and other features into a single package. G12 as well provides businesses with the tools to better manage their communications requirements online. G12 clients can manage their own calling features, which allows them to communicate when and where they want on whatever device they choose. G12 uses the cloud for its services so clients only need one Internet connection for both voice and web services. Combining these services eliminates the need for additional phones lines, which reduces overall communications costs.
We came up with the idea ... Because we continue to see how far behind the research curve many businesses are when it comes to their communication services. Find-me follow-me, simultaneous ring, voicemail-to-email, mobile integration are all standard services that should be available to all enterprise clients. We feel that for businesses to be successful they need access to these features so they can be more efficient, productive and communicate when and where they want. We knew we could build one of the most advanced communication services platforms in the industry and bring these advanced features to our clients in a complete package via the cloud. That's why we started G12 Communications.
If we had $3 million, we'd invest in ... We would continue to invest in automation. G12 brings at the same time the voice communications, data communications, software platforms, customer devices and other ancillary services to deliver a complete unified communications service. We are the end-to-end service provider not only offering the advanced features, nevertheless also the network and services. To bring all of this at the same time we have to continue to invest in automation so we can scale and support all the opportunities.
The oddest thing about our company is
The oddest thing about our company is ... The amount we can do with limited resources. Access to the right resources and automation are important to this business.
The one thing missing from the business is ... Overhead. We are a self-funded start up so we manage our resources very closely.
We won't fail because ... We have built several successful retail and wholesale communications businesses in the past and we understand this market so then. We have an extensive product background and have always built our services around customer needs and requirements. We are off to a great start and are furthermore optimistic about this possibility than when we started the company. There is a large demand for what we are offering.
