HP Australia to deliver digital cure for SA hospital of the future

IT giant Hewlett-Packard Australia today announced it had won a innovation contract to design, build and maintain a portion of ICT systems for South Australia's future digital hospital.

HP will deploy its Converged Infrastructure services, which merge computers, storage and networks with services and manage them all through a single management platform. This solution will allow integration of the new Royal Adelaide's in-building systems with the South Australia Government's enterprise-level health patient admission and medical records applications.

In addition, HP will deliver communications solutions just as the IP PABX, which will as well support portable devices, including smartphones and tablets operated by the hospital staff.
