Information Technology (IT) Seminar Helps Businesses Leverage Cloud Computing and Mobile Technologies
RIVERSIDE, CA — On May 24, Accent Computer Solutions' Marketing Manager, Courtney Kaufman, hosted a workshop at the 4th Annual Small Business Resource Expo, the Inland Empire's largest resource and networking expo. Kaufman discussed the complex world of information research and how proper use of research creates greater efficiency for businesses.
Topics covered included cloud computing, mobile research, IT security, backup and disaster recovery, strategic innovation planning, and reducing IT costs.
"Cloud computing and mobile innovation are topics that most business owners have heard about, however they may not fully understand how to utilize them," said Kaufman. "With these technologies, businesses can see reduced IT support costs, improved network access for remote workers, increased efficiency, and less downtime."
Kaufman specializes in educating businesses and translating the complicated world of IT into simple, practical tools and strategic assets that they can use to succeed. Known in the Inland Empire as "The Tech Girl," Kaufman is a regular columnist for the region's newspaper of record, The Press Enterprise. Her columns address topical news trends, new innovation products and offer reader advice on how to embrace innovation or avoid common IT pitfalls.
